HYBE LABELS JAPAN Inc. (hereinafter the “Company”) has the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy describes the purposes and methods of using personal information provided by you and the measures and actions taken to protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy may be subject to change in accordance with changes in relevant privacy laws (hereinafter the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information”) or changes in guidelines, as well as changes in the Company’s policies.

In this Privacy Policy, the term “personal information” refers to information about an individual, such as name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address, occupation, workplace, and any other information that can identify a specific individual (including information that can easily be compared with other information to identify a specific individual).

(Items of Collected Personal Information)

The information the Company collects for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy under “Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information” includes, but is not limited to, the following:

(1) Information Related to Identity Verification

Email address, nationality, name (first and last), furigana name (first and last), gender, date of birth, address, mobile phone number, height (in cm), social media account ID, messenger ID, files (photos, videos, etc.)

(2) Information Collected During Use of Service

Online identifiers such as cookie IDs, device information, location, browsing history, and other service usage information (including access logs, IP addresses, browser information, and browser language settings)

(3) Other Information

Information collected when you make inquiries or contact the Company, etc.

(Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company does not share personal information collected with third parties without the individual’s consent except when there is a legitimate reason to do so, such as when permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws. If it becomes necessary to provide new personal information to a third party for which consent has not been obtained from you according to this Privacy Policy, the Company will reattain your consent before providing the personal information.

In general, the Company does not disclose your personal information to third parties. However, if the Company receives a disclosure request from a court, government agency, etc., information may be disclosed only to the extent necessary to protect the rights and property of the Company and to respond to inquiries from the relevant third party.

The Company has designated a Personal Information Protection Officer to prevent personal information from being leaked, lost, or damaged. The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures, such as securely storing personal information on a server in an environment inaccessible to general users, to ensure sufficient safety protection. (Consignment of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 27, Paragraph 5, Subparagraph 1))

In order to achieve the purpose of use specified in “Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information,” the Company may be required to consign some or all of the collected information to an external company. The Company provides external companies with only the necessary information within the scope of the required purposes and prohibits the use of personal information for purposes other than the intended use.

(Supervision of Consigned Organizations)

The Company may provide some of your personal information to an external consigned organization for performing tasks such as providing products or services to you. In such cases, the Company will supervise the consigned organization to ensure appropriate processing of personal information.

(Processing of Collected Personal Information)

Anonymous and pseudonymized information can be created based on the collected personal information. In such cases, the Company will take appropriate measures in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

(Protection by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) on Personal Information Screens)

The Company employs the SSL encryption protocol on every screen where personal information needs to be entered on the Company’s website to ensure that personal information is not transmitted in an unprotected state. SSL is an internet encryption protocol recommended by credit card companies. Compatible browsers allow real-time verification of encrypted messages, so you can transmit personal information with confidence. Additionally, if you use a credit card for payment on our website, your credit card information is held only by the payment service provider, and our website does not retain your credit card information.

The Company collects and uses personal information only within the scope of the following purposes:

(1) To provide services related to the sale of products or tickets processed by the Company and the provision of related services necessary for business (including receipt, payment processing, delivery, or same-day exchange), as well as services related to customer applications (including sign-up, maintenance, withdrawal, and verification of FC membership)

(Matters Related to Joint Use (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 27, Paragraph 5, Subparagraph 3))

Article 27, Paragraph 5, Subparagraph 3 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information pertains to cases where personal data is jointly used with a specific third party. It stipulates that, as long as the fact and certain details of such joint use are easily accessible to the customer, personal data may be provided to the joint user without the prior consent of the customer. The Company jointly uses the personal information collected through the methods stipulated in the “Methods of Collecting Personal Information” section of this Privacy Policy in accordance with the provisions outlined in the following items:

(Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information)

When collecting personal information, the retention period is up to 90 days after withdrawal from a Weverse account or from this ticket site. Once the event ends, information related to registration will be destroyed, making it inaccessible for viewing or use. Additionally, if the registration information has been provided to a third party in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will direct the third party to destroy the information as well. Furthermore, the personal information will be destroyed when the purpose of collection or provision of the personal information has been achieved.

HYBE LABELS JAPAN Inc. (hereinafter the “Company”) endeavors to handle the personal information provided by participants (hereinafter “Participants”) in this event and audition (hereinafter the “Event”) in accordance with laws and guidelines, as well as policies and internal rules established by the Company, to ensure appropriate and secure management and protection.

【Purposes of Use of Personal Information and Provision to Third Parties, etc.】

(1) The Company uses personal information to scout artists, models, and actors, as well as to verify applications and contact those who have applied for the Event or for talent recruitment, and to provide other information about the Company.

(2) The Company may use and edit any name, portrait, appearance, speaking, singing, etc., that has been recorded, videotaped, or provided to us in relation to the Event for various forms of media such as television, magazines, and the web. Additionally, the Company may provide information to third parties operating each medium to the extent necessary for the use and editing of such content.

(3) In addition to the above, the Company uses the collected personal information for purposes specified in the Privacy Policy that the Company has separately established.

【Confidentiality about the Event】

Participants agree to treat all information related to the Event as confidential. Without our prior written consent, they shall not disclose, make public, or leak any information to third parties through document distribution, online publication, or any other means (including but not limited to posting on social media, sending messages, and using in offline media).
